Vitamin D 3 – the Supplement Needed by Everyone

Latitude —higher latitudes have lower ultraviolet
Pollution-blocks ultraviolet
Time in sun-Face and hands need at least 45 minutes to make 1000 unites under best circumstances
Age-over 50 skin less able to make D 3
Sunscreen-blocks ultraviolet
Temperature of skin-on cool days much more time needed for sun to do its benefit!
Kidney health-poor kidney function decreases D3
Liver health-poor liver function decreases D3
Intestinal health-any disturbance decrease absorption. Antibiotics, leaky gut, etc!
Weight-two-thirds of Americans overweight. The higher your weight, the less able to make D 3 even in best sun circumstances

Toxins-Exposure to all toxins increases need for D 3

SYMPTOMS OF D 3 DEFICIENCY
  • Weak immunity
  • Aches and pains, especially of bones
  • Sweaty head
  • Low energy
  • Loss of vision
  • Mood fluctuations-depression. Anxiety, irritability
  • Low energy
  • Memory problems
  • Most heart problems
  • Cancer
  • Premature Death
Needs
Children-Minimum of 1000 units per day
Adults-Minimum of 2000 units per day
IDEAL for adults-5000 units per day if under 140 pounds; 7000 to 10,000 units daily if over 140 pounds

Must have minimum of 100 mcg of K 2 daily. If ill with any problem, 15 or more mg of K 2 daily

EXCESS D 3-rare but problem can be excess calcium in blood and that can damage kidneys
