C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D.
In the mid 60’s I introduced the use of electrical stimulation to acupuncture needles, with a significant improvement in efficacy, used worldwide for assistance in controlling pain. My most important discovery to date is TRANSCUTANEOUS ACUPUNCTURE, in my opinion the most important advance in Acupuncture in 4000 years. Of course, one of the reasons this is so important is the 5 Rings I discovered in the 90’s. These 5 circuits have significantly more clinical benefit than all my other work in the past 50 years. Of course, until the last couple of years activation of these circuits required 20 minutes for each Ring and a prescription for the stimulator.
Now, with Transcutaneous Acupuncture, stimulation takes only 30 seconds for activation of the Ring and individuals can easily learn to do it themselves! Of course, all clinicians can also assist and advise clients in proper use. I have done several certification workshops for health professionals and the next will take place here October 10 and 11.
Meanwhile, our clinical experience continues to provide exciting proof of benefits in a variety of situations. These include:
Assists in restoring DHEA; improving migraine, depression, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetic neuropathy
Assists 80% of individuals with marked reduction in anxiety and depression, as well as helping autism, ADHD, menopausal symptoms, migraine and PTSD
Assists in reducing edema or swelling.
Assists in reducing pain and in raising calcitonin, which is essential for preventing and reversing osteoporosis. When combined with Crystal Bliss, helps with neuropathy and with tremor.
Assists in reducing free radicals 80%!!
NOTHING else is this effective in reducing free radicals!
When combined with Earth Bliss, helps with neuropathy and with tremor.
I am delighted to report that my presentation on Transcutaneous Acupuncture has been accepted for presentation at the annual meeting of the Southern Medial Association.
