I have never been a fan of TV. When our kids were growing up they were restricted to 4 hours a week! I do not trust any news program. 90+ percent of the other programs are not socially redeeming. More importantly, TV watching leads to the couch potato syndrome which is a major contributor to premature death!
They confirmed the association for higher mortality risk from cancer and heart disease. In addition, they identified new associations with higher risk of death from most of the leading causes of death in the U.S., such as, diabetes, influenza/pneumonia, Parkinson’s disease, and liver disease.
