Medical Intuition and Symbolic Diseases
Dec 5, 2014 – Dec 7, 2014
Many factors affect our health, from genetics and environmental pollution to toxic emotions. Medical Intuition can provide valuable tools to find the underlying causes of a physical or emotional condition. Our bodies speak to us constantly and have much to teach us, if we can learn to listen by using Medical Intuition.
This three-day weekend retreat will be an opportunity to cultivate your practice of inner guidance and explore the way medical intuition complements a holistic approach to health. Deep relaxation and imagery exercises will allow participants to develop their intuitive abilities. Learning to think symbolically about illnesses is also an important skill and has the potential to transform symptoms through the use of metaphors. Participants will learn how to process this metaphorical information from the body, with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), plus breathing and shaking techniques.
Illnesses of unknown origin in Western medicine, such as autoimmune diseases, may represent symbolic expressions of underlying psychospiritual imbalances and these, too, can be explored intuitively. Suppression of these symptoms, which are messengers from our unconscious, is a significant barrier to healing and a major deficiency in our society’s approach to healthcare.
