“You have colon cancer. And, it’s already stage three. My advice to you is to get your things in order. I suggest you write a will.”
Everyone goes through crisis periods during his or her life. The good news is that I not only survived the diagnosis, but I am also thriving. There are many things I can point to that led to my recovery, like the support of my family, as well as my current state of optimal health and well being.
When you find yourself facing your own challenges think about changing the strategy. Instead of trying “to do the same things and expecting a different result,” as mentioned by Einstein, look for something that is amazing or transformative (nature is an excellent source) to help you recognize life can be so much different. Life can be full of magic and the challenge itself can become an opportunity for personal growth and development. Find what others have done who have overcome similar challenges. Paying attention and implementing what Dr. Norm Shealy and I teach is a good place to start.
One of our favorite tools to recommend is adding sound technology, specifically binaural beats and Hemi-Sync®. As my business partner and colleague Dr. Brian Dailey says: “It’s easy to use, inexpensive and non-addictive. Why not?”
Hemi-Sync was created by Robert Monroe of The Monroe Institute (TMI). We believe adding binaural beats is an excellent modality and we have witnessed time and time again where it has made a significant impact for people dealing with stress, sleep challenges, chemotherapy and pain. We like it so much, it’s a key feature in most of our workshops and trainings.
We are especially excited that we are now teaching a course at TMI: Energy Medicine, which combines Hemi-Sync and the new technology Spatial Angle Modulation (SAM) with energy healing techniques.
