Is Anything Real?

by JPA Ioannidis – 2005

I HAVE QUOTED Ioannides’ article a number of times; his statement that 95% of scientific articles are false resonates with the unequivocal evidence that antidepressant drugs do not work and have been falsely promoted by the PharmacoMafia; that statins suck and create more harm than good; that coronary bypass surgery fails to prolong life, making it one of the most expensive “scientifically” supported lies of all time; that antihypertensive drugs fail a majority of the time, that our government is incapable of following a sane monetary plan, and on it goes.

There appears to be climate change but the CAUSE of it is one of the greatest controversies of all times.

I have just finished a 900-page book, FORBIDDEN ARCHEOLOGY, which clearly and tediously but well-written and documented emphasizes the unwieldy controversies of paleontology and archeology and the “origin” of humanity.

There appears to be adequate evidence for the common sense of real nutrition, for the need for physical activity, for maintaining a positive attitude despite the chaos of the world, for bringing children into the world in a planned and happy state, for loving and hugging and keeping on. Beyond this, it may all depend upon your mood and attitude more than anything else!
