Health is by far the most important goal for everyone. Despite this obvious statement, 97% of Americans do not have the four essentials:
No smoking-roughly 75% of adults do follow this essential
BMI of 18 to 24-only one third of Americans meet this goal
Eat minimum of five servings of fruits/vegetables daily-perhaps
????? 10 % of Americans
Exercise 30 minutes at least 5 days a week-10% accomplish this
?
Without these 4 habits, little else is important. For instance for those who smoke, there is no antidote as powerful as the poison they are taking!? For those overweight and obese there is no magic supplement that can replace proper nutrition and exercise to adjust Body Mass Index. There are no pills that can replace real food.?? No amount of time relaxing can compensate for inactivity. Assuming you have the common sense and will to obtain the Basic 4, here are some additional suggestions:
Laugh a lot. If you need an assistant, there are numerous CD's and DVD's that can help. You can even do Laughing Meditation-see my CD at www.selfhealthsystems.com.
Check your homocysteine-if it is above 7.5, you need folic acid, B 12 and some C
Check your High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein-if it is above 1, have a thorough check for hidden infection. Deal with anger. See my suggestions in an archived newsletter or Optimal Recommendations
Check your cholesterol-if it is above 190, see my archived newsletters or Optimal Recommendations
Take vitamin D 3, 50,000 units and K 2, 100 micrograms at least once a week. This is the single best health enhancement beyond the basic 4!!
Take a good multivitamin/mineral such as my Essentials
Use Magnesium Lotion daily-80% of Americans are deficient
Relax 20 minutes daily, AFTER you do the essential exercise!
Drink non-chlorinated/fluoridated water-average 8 glasses daily

Sleep 7 to 8 hours each night
Drink alcohol, if you do, in moderation
Take a minimum of 100 mg of C0-Q 10 daily
Take a minimum of 3 grams of Omega-3's daily
Avoid “fast food restaurants”
Shop carefully and buy only real food
