On DECEMBER 15, I give my most important paper at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine Retraining Narcotic Addicts
C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D.
Under an IRB approved research protocol, twelve narcotic addicts sentenced to a two-year locked, monitored facility, were enrolled in a one year research project to assist them in overcoming long-standing narcotic addiction. The inmates are monitored for drugs daily and agreed to provide Total Symptom Indices, Craving scores weekly and to use a minimum of one hour daily trans-cranially a PEMF device which sweeps every ten minutes from 5.83 Hz to 56.81 Hz. This device has previously been demonstrated to produce total EEG gamma frequency. Craving, insomnia, depression, and anxiety are strikingly reduced. No negative effects were observed.
